FRESH JUICE:
Monthly Improvisation Sessions

Presented by Live Art Benalla and Benalla Art Gallery

FRESH JUICE is a monthly jam session for musicians, performance artists and artists with embodied practices, interested in experimentation and improvisation. ​The sessions allow participants to explore their improvisation practice, while drawing inspiration from other artists and the Gallery environment. Artists can share techniques and skills and expand their artistic practice.

​

Artists of all levels are welcome to join the sessions. Sessions will be co-designed and devised between the sharing artists to most adequately meet their practice needs and to explore new approaches to artwork development.

FRESH JUICE sessions are held on the last Wednesday evening of each month.

​

FRESH JUICE provides professional development for artists living in the North East regions and includes special workshop series with visiting industry professionals. In 2025, Live Art Benalla through the FRESH JUICE program, delivered a free professional development workshop with the Australian Art Orchestra, supported by the Benalla Rural City Council, community grants program.
